Default Toyota FT 86 Concept II | Geneva 2011 Conference

So they just released some pictures of the FT 86 Concept II at the Geneva Conference. It has a new front end design. Which I kind of like besides the whole LEDs near the bottom. Back has a very nice sleek design in my opinion. **NOTE** I did not take these pictures.

what better than brake lights that say "MOTHERFUCKER IM BRAKING RIGHT NOW"

I've been reading about this car long enough to be let down by all the constant changing and pushing back, so im just gonna forget about it until its at a dealership somewhere.

Ugly as hail! Looks like Toyota teamed up with APC and Wings West to produce a Pep Boys Edition. Later, QD.

What you wouldn't want awd? I actually don't care for the rear of the car with the sloping roof line.

I have to say that I still love it. The wheels look incredible though!

They will be similar and both will have a similar 2.0 boxster engine and 6 speed manual.

From the front LED's to the fake rear diffuser... It just looks like they are trying too hard.

Hopefully this is the design for their "sports" package and the base model has a little less going on

I like it..........of course there are sum things that don't belong, that's why it's a concept. Rarely do you see the concept version make it to a the car lot looking the same.

Personally I would love to have an AWD platform & especially if this thing has power close to a WRX/STI. It will really be cool if you're able to control torque where you prefer. If you want AWD then you got it, if you want FR then you got it, etc.

I can dig it. Like adodd said, it's a concept car, the production version (if they ever get around to it) will be more tame. I think the overall lines are pretty sharp, it's just a little busy in its concept state.

If by "front mount" you mean a new front mount bumper, then it's not just you. Later, QD.

Here's the sad truth... Toyota can put the "86" number on a lump of shit and fanboy's will buy/drool over it. The original 86 was a just fucking Corolla.

Was it a good car? Sure.

Was it a great car? No. But because someone drove the shit out of it in a fictional cartoon... It now rests atop the pantheon of automobiles as a "driver's" car. Bullshit.

Now don't get me wrong, I like the old Corollas... But this car is NOTHING like the original. Boxster engine? WTF? Buy the same car from Subaru? WTF??? I personally liked the first concept better, but if this is the "design" road they are going down, I'd rather them not do it at all.

Now that I think about it, they did put the "86" number on a lump of shit.
